Amnesty International’s vision is of a world in which every person enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights instruments.  In pursuit of this vision, Amnesty International’s mission is to undertake research and action focused on preventing and ending grave abuses of these rights.

Purpose and Goals of Online Communities and International Members

Amnesty International’s Online Communities are virtual spaces to be used by e-activists and international members to:

• engage with each other and Amnesty International
• provide a space for individuals to organize for action around Amnesty International Campaigns
• access support for mobilizing and organizing around human rights issues
• raise and discuss different human rights issues as it impacts your local community
